Southern California is alive with the sound of punk, techno, R&B, country and more in 2024.
This year has already seen major events such as the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival and its country music counterpart, Stagecoach, both held at the Empire Polo Club in Indio over consecutive weekends in April. Fans quickly sold out the multi-generational Latin festival Besame Mucho Festival at Dodger Stadium. In May, fans partied to the sounds of early 2000s indie rock at the Just Like Heaven festival at Brookside at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena.
With summer approaching, numerous additional music festivals have been added to Southern California’s 2024 lineup and beyond. Here is a list of upcoming festival events for the rest of the year.
JUNE
No Values
The No Values Festival, produced by Goldenvoice, will see legendary punk rock groups such as Social Distortion and the original members of Misfits at the top of the bill. The one-day event will also feature more than 40 acts including Agent Orange, Ceremony, Cro-Mags, Fidlar, Fear, Fishbone, Hepcat, Iggy Pop, Joyce Manor, L7, Mourning Noise, MSPAINT, Power Trip and more.

Hollywood Bowl Jazz Festival
The 44th annual two-day jazz festival will take place at the Hollywood Bowl with performances by Andra Day, Christian McBride, Cimafunk, Charles Lloydwith, Jason Moran, Larry Grenadier & Brian Blade, Mulatu Astatke, Alex Isley and more.

Insomniac’s house music festival is hitting The Queen Mary Waterfront for two days with Kaskade, Armand Van Helden, LF System, Matt Sassari, Cloonee, Hannah Wants, Loco Dice and more taking over the decks.

Sad Summer Fest
The cross-country Sad Summer Festival, hosted by Journeys and Converse, is coming to Santa Ana with sets by Mayday Parade, the Maine, the Wonder Years, We The Kings, Real Friends, Knuckle Puck, the Summer Set, Hot Milk and more.

The two-day Hard Summer Music Festival is making its Los Angeles return at Hollywood Park with performances by Disclosure, Jamie xx, Skepta, Boys Noize, Chris Stuffy, Fisher B2B Chris Lake, Major Lazer, Sofi Tukker, Kenny Beats and more.

Long Beach Jazz Festival
The 35th annual Long Beach Jazz Festival will bring together award-winning artists of Jazz, Latin, and R&B to create a diverse three-day symphony of music genres. This year’s set list has yet to be announced, but it will be released in the coming weeks.

Bascon Wasteland
The annual hard dance music festival is making its way back to San Bernardino with Audiofreq, Ben Nicky, Code Black, Coone, Domina, Hpnotic, Kutski, Link, Radical Redemption, Bioweapon, Creeds, Darren Styles and Dead X taking over the decks.

Fool In Love
The inaugural R&B and soul fest Fool In Love will take place at Hollywood Park in Inglewood on Saturday, Aug. 31, with headliners Lionel Richie and Diana Ross. Zedd in the Park
Multi-platinum global superstar Zedd announced the fourth edition of his famed Zedd in the Park presented by Insomniac. Back for the first time since 2022, the event is set to feature EDM sets, games, a special VIP area, art installations, multiple food trucks and much more. The official lineup is set to be released in the coming weeks.

I Love RnB Festival
The I Love RnB Music Festival will be hosting R&B sets from classics to new hits, with performances by Omarion, Ja Rule, Bow Wow, Monica, Mario and Pretty Ricky, among others.

Nocturnal Wonderland
Insomniac’s longest-running festival is back for two days of music, camping and art. This year’s theme is the Infinite Wild. The lineup is slated to be announced within a month on all Insomniac Events social channels.

Coastal Country Jam

The three-day waterfront music, art, and wellness festival will return to Lake Perris. Workshops will include meditation, yoga, arts and crafts, games, food and music all day long. The setlist has yet to be announced.

Ohana Festival
The Eddie Vedder-curated Ohana Festival is taking over Doheny State Beach in Dana Point with headliners Pearl Jam, Neil Young and Alanis Morisette. Other acts include Garbage, Maren Morris, Crowded House, Crazy House, Turnpike Troubadors, Black Pumas, Idles, the Breeders and Ryan Beaty, among others.

Desert Daze
The psych-rock lakeside festival is finally returning to Lake Perris for three days of music and art. Each year, the festival brings together interactive art installations and screenings that can be found throughout the campgrounds. The 2024 lineup is still unknown, but attendees can anticipate a good mix of psychedelic rock and indie acts.
When: Oct. 10-13

Escape Halloween

Bésame Mucho, the multi-generational, multi-genre Latino music fest, is returning to Dodger Stadium for its third year. The single-day event will include headliners Shakira, Enrique Iglesias and the norteño supergroup Los Tigres del Norte. Additional performances include a few returning acts along with debuts including Juanes, Hombres G, Paulina Rubio, Los Tucanes de Tijuana, Pancho Barraza, Pesado, Moenia, Elefante, Carlos Vives, Inspector, Kaia Lana, Lalo Mora, La Adictiva and more.

Insomniac’s Countdown
Insomniac will be waving 2024 goodbye and ringing in the new year with its annual Countdown event with the out-of-this-world New Year’s Invasion theme. The lineup has yet to be announced, but the two-day event will feature several space-themed stages and last year included acts such as Alison Wonderland, Borgore, the Chainsmokers, Deadmau5 and more.
