Excerpts from âCrimes of the Educatorsâ (2014) by Sam Blumenfeld and Alex NewmanâPublic education represents the largest river of government cash flowâŠthe educationists get the money no matter how much failure they produceâ (p. 243).âSocialists cannot create a productive economy, they must deceive the electorate into believing that what they will produce is equality in paradiseâŠfree medical care, free education, and equality of poverty and enslavement. Only a dumbed-down people would fall for that shamâ (p. 221).âGovernment do not create wealth. They confiscate it from those who produce itâ (p. 221).âIf schools donât do a good job, we are told it is because they arenât getting enough money. If spending increases and they still arenât performing, it is because it isnât enough moneyâŠthe more the taxpayer pays for education, the worse it getsâ (p. 234).âEducation âreformâ is simply the educatorsâ way of getting the taxpayer to shell out more for our failing public schoolsâ (p. 241).âParents [in the homeschool movement] are able to educate their children at home without a principal, administrator, or state bureaucrat breathing down their necks. They choose the best educational materials they can find at much lower cost than what the state pays to indoctrinate a child in the public school. Homeschooling usually costs parents about $900 a year, at no expense to the taxpayerâ (pp. 242-243).
