About Us

As soon as I heard about TimeWaver information field technology and the fabulous work of Dr. Carolyn McMakin using Frequency Specific Microcurrent Therapy, I knew without a doubt I had to purchase a machine and incorporate it into my practice.

I have always had an interest in health relating to the body and mind. My father was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis as a young man and later with cancer; he suffered greatly with pain throughout his life. I believe we don't need to suffer in our lives and that our amazing bodies, with help, can heal and transform. Dr. Carolyn McMackin’s work and research has proven that pain can be treated quickly and often permanently.

I studied Podiatry at the Durham School of Podiatric Medicine graduating in 1997. I have worked in London in busy Chiropody and Podiatry clinics and I now own a wellbeing Centre in Harrogate called Vitality, continuing my work as a Podiatrist.

I have worked in private practice for 15 years and during this time I have seen a steady increase in clients searching for alternatives to increase their health and wellbeing where orthodox medicine fails or is unavailable. The TimeWaver Frequency system was developed by German Quantum physicist and the inventor of information field technology, Marcus Schmieke and the Portuguese clinic manager Nuno Nina, head of 7 clinics for integrative medicine and a specialist in cell biology.

Nuno Nina is one of the world's leading specialists in the field of integrative medicine. In his many years of practical work, he collected 130,000 frequencies, the so-called Gold frequencies, and assigned them to specific disease patterns. His experience with more than 45,000 patients strengthens our opinion that a reduced voltage of the cell membrane is present in almost all diseases.

Cytologists Dr. Robert O. Becker and Dr. Bjorn Nordenstrom discovered that almost all acute and chronic diseases may be caused by a decrease in the cell membrane voltage. According to their model, a person is just as healthy as his or her cells and their communication with one another.

Becker and Nordonstrom describe how the health of a cell can be linked to a simple parameter: the electric cell membrane voltage. Ideally, the cell has a voltage of -70 mV and therefore enough energy to live and to communicate with other cells. In the course of disease this voltage often decreases to -50 mV. In case of a voltage of -40 mV, pain and inflammation may arise, and - 15 mV is the threshold where the cell can mutate to a tumour cell.

Dr Carolyn McMakin became thoroughly acquainted with the world of medicine during her 16 years as a pharmaceutical representative. She then changed her path in life, studying to become a chiropractor and opening her own practice in due course.

While setting up her practice, Dr McMakin bought a microcurrent therapy device dating from 1922, an era when non-pharmaceutical therapies were not yet as strictly regulated in the United States. With the hardware came a hidden treasure, a comprehensive list of frequencies and their effects.

Based on this list, Dr McMakin began treating patients with dual-channel frequency therapy, quickly gaining valuable experience with this technique. The success was overwhelming. She started to perform comprehensive teaching and training activities for other therapists and founded her own pain clinic in Portland, Oregon.

Dr McMakin is now the leading authority and developer of Frequency Specific Microcurrent (FSM).She maintains a part-time clinical practice, participates in research and teaches seminars on the use of FSM in the United States, Australia, Ireland and Europe.
