Mostly went here because it was close to home and I had good financial aid offers, but I did enjoy it. Since it is such a small college, I was able to get help from professors easily. The student life was pretty good considering I started fall 2020. If you are considering Truman, just know that they take the "Harvard of the Midwest" somewhat seriously so classes are difficult, but there are tutors and the professors are generally willing to help. I also was able to get a good state job before graduating with my business administration degree. Your likelihood of getting a good job are pretty high since Truman is well know as a good college.

A good school that is small enough to ensure that there are a variety of opportunities to get to know fellow students and professors. There are many extracurricular activities to take part in, and lots of chances to get involved. The professors know students personally. The town, Kirksville, is small and remote, but can still provide some entertainment.

In terms of academics, Truman is really excellent. With proficient lecturers and frequent visits of distinguished guest from all walks of life to share experiences with us. The SAB as well organizes frequent events for students to create meaningful memories. The only downside I have is the town, it doesn't really have a lot to offer. But if you're very particular about your academics and not much of a party type, Truman is a great choice.
